For the elementary level, Pathway School optimizes its facilities and learning spaces to high standards, with a maximum of 25 students per class. Classrooms are organized into learning groups of four, with students paired to learn and progress together, fostering greater connection and collaboration among classmates.
Teachers and students work together to maintain the learning environment according to the 5S principles: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. Through these practices, students gradually develop habits of tidiness, discipline, and independence, while learning to show respect and care for the people and things around them.
The library offers hundreds of books in both English and Vietnamese for different age groups, encouraging students to explore a wealth of knowledge and develop a lifelong Reading Culture.
Based on children’s physical and psychological development at the elementary level, the Sasuke playground and obstacle-course activities are designed to strengthen students’ Willpower and develop a wide range of physical skills, including fine motor skills, balance and stability, and complex movement coordination. These activities also help improve strength, speed, and agility, while encouraging students to gradually remain calm, turn their attention inward, observe themselves, and overcome fear.
The Sasuke playground is equipped with safety nets and a series of interconnected challenges with increasing levels of difficulty, including jump-rope exercises, speed-change drills, pull-up bar exercises, obstacle weaving, balance bridges, swinging bridges, rope-crossing activities, and more.
The functional rooms, playgrounds, swimming pool, restrooms, and other facilities at Pathway School are cleaned and disinfected according to established procedures, ensuring that students can learn and play in a clean, well-maintained environment.
Elementary students at Pathway School also have opportunities to learn through real-life experiences in open, green outdoor learning spaces. Through these experiences, students learn to care for nature and their surroundings, develop a love for the natural world, and respect the environment.
Pathway School places special emphasis on the nutritional needs of elementary students, ensuring that meals provide not only sufficient energy for effective learning but also the nourishment needed for healthy physical development. Students are provided with varied, flavorful, and nutritionally balanced meals prepared directly in the school kitchen.
The school carefully selects safe, high-quality food sources and strictly follows food safety and hygiene regulations set by the Ministry of Health. The kitchen is designed according to a one-way workflow, with well-ventilated areas that are consistently maintained to high hygiene standards.
Every Monday, students enjoy a “green meal”. The school creates a calm and peaceful atmosphere during mealtimes so that students can fully appreciate the flavors of their food while cultivating gratitude.
Pathway School also guides elementary students in maintaining personal hygiene before and after meals and developing independence during mealtimes. Students learn to serve themselves, take only as much food as they need to avoid waste, clean their dining area, wash used items, and return everything to its proper place.
