Throughout students’ journey of developing knowledge and character, Pathway School’s Middle and High School Program builds upon the foundations established in Preschool and Elementary School. The program continues to nurture and strengthen students’ core qualities and competencies, guiding them toward three key orientations: Self-respect – Contributing to Society – Harmony with Nature.

With a teaching approach grounded in Constructivist Theory and the Zone of Proximal Development, combined with scientific assessment methods based on clearly defined competency scales and supported by a wide range of learning resources, Middle and High School students are empowered to:

Pathway School’s Middle and High School students develop the skills to make informed choices about their future fields of study and careers through a comprehensive career guidance program from Grades 6 to 12. The program guides students toward meaningful and ethical careers, encouraging them to contribute through purposeful work and become responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society.

Through their experiences at school, students enrich their life experiences and nurture Morality – Wisdom – Willpower, along with a love for nature, environmental responsibility, and a spirit of contribution through meaningful charitable activities both within and beyond the school community. Participation in charitable activities is an important part of the learning expectations for all Pathway School Middle and High School students. Through activities initiated by the school, parents, or students themselves, students develop leadership, collaboration, and work management skills, while cultivating compassion, care, and a willingness to share with and contribute to the community.

Pathway School’s Middle and High School English Program builds a strong foundation in English, helping students communicate with confidence, explore cultures around the world, and take part in experiential activities, exchanges, and opportunities to connect and share with students in Vietnam and abroad, preparing them to thrive in a global environment.

Pathway School focuses on developing and strengthening students’ English proficiency toward a target level of B1 (equivalent to IELTS 4.0) by Grade 9 and B2 (equivalent to IELTS 6.0) by Grade 12, based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The program uses up-to-date learning materials from Oxford University Press to develop essential language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, providing students with a strong foundation for internationally recognized English examinations.

Pathway School teachers receive ongoing professional development and monthly training to ensure diverse and effective teaching approaches that combine hands-on learning, technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and communication skills development.
