Pathway School considers Morality – Wisdom – Willpower as the root of the personality tree.
Roots are carefully nurtured and tested to forge, and then the tree will develop sustainably and bear sweet fruits for the rest of its life.

Morality

Morality is the sense and attitude of being nice and respecting principles, standards, and one’s and society’s interests. It is the desire to create a happy living environment.

Moral lessons are incorporated into all aspects of culture, language, skill lessons, reading exercises, storytelling of great men, good people, good deeds, and so on so that students can absorb good things and discriminate between right and wrong.

The students at Pathway School also practice the value of Mindfulness in daily activities such as self-service, supporting classmates, and being honest about the most minor things. They share feelings and self-assessment through activities including listening to the mindful bell, sharing their emotions at the start of the day, attending let’s-go-ahead-together training, sitting in silence in the middle of the day, meditation… All of which help water the seeds of peace in students’ minds.

Wisdom is the knowledge, and appropriate awareness gained via Cause – Effect thinking that allows us to discriminate between right and wrong.

Pathway School uses Constructivism to foster knowledge through theenvironment, multi-angle observed situations, analyzing all spheres, connecting community power, and actively crystallizing learning so that students can nourish their passions, develop critical-thinking skills, and discover and experience new things. Parents and schools are always there to help students attain actual information while avoiding obsession with achievements.

Willpower is the determination and ability to perform shown through three elements “Dũng” (Bravery), “Nhẫn” (Persistent), “Tĩnh” (Calm). Bravery: Dare to deal with difficulties; Persistent: Consistently attain goals; Calm: Maintain a steady mind in the face of social changes.

At Pathway School, students strengthen willpower by learning through all learning and playing activities, especially outdoor ones like “Hè trưởng thành” (Summer of Maturity), “Tết trưởng thành” (Tet holiday of Maturity)…Thanks to these, they bravely encounter all challenges, do not give up, and reach their goals.
